Międzynarodowa wystawa projektu „Mail Art” (Sztuka zawarta w pocztówce)

Ideą projektu jest: popularyzacja twórczości Stanisława Lema oraz jego związku z Miastem Kraków. Pragniemy aby każdy z uczestników projektu zastanowił się nad tym jak wielowarstwowe podłoże miała twórczość Stanisława Lema, oraz w jaki sposób była i jest ona odczytywana przez świat nauki, filozofii i sztuki. Bardzo istotnym elementem naszego projektu jest fakt eksploracji kosmicznej Marsa. To wyjątkowe wydarzenie ze świata nauki ma dla nas ścisły związek z twórczością Stanisława Lema oraz z obecną sytuacją, która zmusza ludzkość do pewnego rodzaju wyobcowania społecznego, jednocześnie sprowadzając nasz świat do troski o elementarne wartości takie jak zdrowie, bezpieczeństwo i wolność. Okazuje się, że porozumienie z „obcym”, który może pochodzić z innej planety lub innego świata ziemskiego jest możliwe poza słowami. Istnieje bowiem wspólny mianownik przejawiający się w prymarnych potrzebach człowieka. Odosobnienie nas do siebie zbliżyło poprzez świadomość globalnych problemów. Autorzy projektu są przekonani że rok 2021, w którym obchodzimy100 rocznicę urodzin Stanisława Lema, jest rokiem pełnym niespodzianek. Lądowanie na Marsie, pandemia, będąca z jednej strony przyczyna wyobcowania, a jednocześnie integracji, wszystko to zapewne zainteresowałoby Stanisława Lema więc powinno być między innymi inspiracją do powstania dzieł.

Regulamin projektu „Sztuka zawarta w pocztówce”.
1. Projekt ma na celu popularyzację twórczość Stanisława Lema oraz miasta Kraków. Kierowany jest do zainteresowanych artystów z całego świata jak również do osób nie zajmujących się sztuką profesjonalnie. W projekcie mogą uczestniczyć wszystkie osoby bez względu na limit wiekowy.

2. Każdy z uczestników projektu wykona własnoręcznie pocztówkę w formacie nie większym niż A4, w dowolnej technice 2D. Na odwrocie karty można umieścić sentencję, impresję myśli, pozdrowienie lub wiersz.

3. Prace powinny nawiązywać do twórczości Stanisława Lema.

4. Prace należy wysłać pocztą na adres:

oraz w wersji cyfrowej: e-mail: ewentualnie.lem@wp.pl
Termin nadsyłania prac mija 30 listopada 2021 roku. Decyduje data stempla pocztowego.

5. Prace nie podlegają selekcji wstępnej.

6. Wszystkie nadesłane prace będą brać udział w wystawie stacjonarnej zatytułowanej „Luna 1”, która odbędzie się w Krakowie, w Polsce pod koniec 2021 roku, w jednej z krakowskich galerii. W późniejszych terminach odbędą się również wystawy stacjonarne w innych miastach Polski, promujące miasto Kraków i uczestników projektu.

7. Odbędzie się również wystawa online o tytule „ Pierwsza galaktyczna wystawa na Marsie”, która będzie zrealizowana w stylistyce twórczości S. Lema.

8. Zostanie również stworzony Blog poświęcony projektowi, na którym będzie można oglądać zgłoszone dzieła oraz filmy z wernisaży jak również odczyty poezji i myśli zawartych na kartach pocztowych.

9. Po zakończeniu projektu, całość kolekcji ręcznie tworzonych kart pocztowych, wykonanych przez artystów z całego świata przechodzi na własność organizatora projektu. Kolekcja zostanie przekazana do jednej z wybranych instytucji miejskich Miasta Kraków.

10. Na koniec projektu zostanie stworzony kalendarz na 2022 rok, podsumowujący projekt a tym samym rok urodzin Lema. W kalendarzu zostaną zamieszczone wybrane karty pocztowe oraz wiersze i myśli zgłoszone przez uczestników projektu. Kalendarz w formie PDF będzie można pobrać bezpłatnie ze strony internetowej.

11. Wysłanie pracy na adres organizatora jest równoznaczne z akceptacją zasad powyższego regulaminu.

12. Udział w projekcie jest bezpłatny.

International exhibition of the project “Mail Art” (Art contained in a postcard)

The idea of the project : is the popularization of Stanislaw Lem’s works and his relationship with the City of Cracow. It’s aimed that each participant of the project is to reflect on the multi-layered background of Stanisław Lem’s work, and how it has been and is being read by the world of science, philosophy, and art. One of the crucial elements of our project is the fact of Exploration of Mars. This unique event in the realm of science has for us a close relationship with the work of Stanisław Lem and with the current situation that forces humanity to a kind of social alienation while reducing our world to a concern for elementary values such as health, safety, and freedom. It turns out that understanding with an “alien” who may come from another planet or another earthly world is possible beyond words. Thus there is a common denominator manifested in the primal needs of human beings. The retreat has brought us closer together through awareness of global issues. The project’s authors believe that 2021 has been a very surprising year that we also celebrate the 100th anniversary of Stanisław Lem’s birthday. Exploration of Mars, a pandemic, from unlimited social interactions to the terrifying reality of isolation in our fast-paced modern world, and among other things that would probably fascinate Lem and be an inspiration for his works.

Regulations of the “Art contained in a postcard” project

1. The project aims to popularize the works of Stanisław Lem and the city of Cracow. It is addressed not only to interested artists from all over the world and also to the people not professionally involved in art. Everyone can participate in the project, regardless of age and background.

2. Each participant will make with his/her own hands a postcard in any 2D technique not larger than A4. On the back of the card you can put a sentence, an impression of thoughts, a greeting or a poem.

3. The works should refer to the works of Stanisław Lem.

4. The deadline for submitting the works is October 30th, 2021.

5. The works are not subject to pre-selection.

6. All submitted works will participate in a stationary exhibition entitled “Luna 1”, which will take place in Krakow, Poland at the end of 2021 in one of Krakow’s galleries. At later dates, stationary exhibitions will also be held in other Polish cities, promoting the city of Krakow and the project participants.

7. There will also be an online exhibition called “The first galactic exhibition on Mars”, which will be realized in the style of Lem’s works.

8. There will be a Blog devoted to the project, where you will be able to watch the submitted works and videos from openings as well as readings of poetry and thoughts contained in the postcards.

9. Upon completion of the project, the entire collection of handmade postcards by artists from all over the world will become the property of the project organizer. The collection will be donated to one of the selected municipal institutions in the City of Krakow.

10. At the end of the project, a calendar for 2022 will be created, summarising the project and the year of Lem’s birthday. The calendar will include selected postcards and poems and thoughts submitted by project participants. The calendar in PDF format will be available to download free of charge from the website.

11. Sending work to the address of the organizer is tantamount to acceptance of the above rules.
